Guided tour of Catania to discover its charm and history. After a walk through the characteristic fish market, you will reach Piazza Duomo, in the center of which you can admire the majestic Baroque Cathedral and the symbol of the city the elephant in lava stone (called "Liotru"). Then you will cross the Via Etnea, that divides the historical center in two: you can admire Piazza Università, the baroque Via Crociferi, the Roman amphitheater and the Vincenzo Bellini Opera House. We will then proceed to the Riviera dei Ciclopi, the coastal area north of Catania, rich in legends that owe their mythical origins to the Odyssey. According to Homer, in these areas he lived and cared for his flock the Cyclops Polyphemus, son of the sea god Poseidon who, blinded by Ulysses after he had devoured 6 of his companions, in the grip of pain and anger, flung himself towards his ship of the massifs fragments of rock, today known as the islands and the Cyclops or Faraglioni of Aci Trezza. On the way back we will stop for the tasting of the typical Sicilian cannoli in one of the nice bars of the city.
